The Luffy deck is the one that disappears first. All six ST-31–36 starter decks land July 31 at $11.99, each with a full 51-card deck, 10 DON!!, and one OP-16 The Time of Battle booster inside — that's roughly $4.50 of current-set pack, cutting the effective deck cost to about $7.50. ST-31 adds an exclusive promotion card and the wave's best-selling archetype: mono-red Straw Hat aggro under Luffy. Be clear about what this is NOT: it's a mass-print retail product, so sealed copies are not a scarcity play — reprints follow demand. A high-speed mono-green Slash-type deck under Zoro — solid if you want to pilot it, but note what's missing: unlike ST-31, ST-34, ST-35 and ST-36, the official contents list NO exclusive promotion card. You're buying a playable 51-card deck plus one OP-16 booster for $11.99, which is fair value for a player and nothing more. Mass retail print, no collector hook, no scarcity angle. Hold means: buy it if you want to play Zoro; skip it if you're buying for value — the promo-carrying decks in this wave are the better boxes.

Mono-blue control under Kuzan. Same wave math as every ST-31–36 deck — $11.99 with an OP-16 booster inside — but ST-33 has the least collector content of the six: no promotion card and the flattest rarity spread of the wave (8 of its distinct cards are Commons, with just 1 Uncommon). If blue control is your playstyle, it's a perfectly fair $11.99. If you're deciding which deck of the wave to buy for value, it's the last one on the list. Buy to play, nothing else.

Mono-purple 'future-sight' control under Charlotte Katakuri — a fan-favorite leader, and one of the four decks in this wave that includes an exclusive promotion card. At $11.99 with an OP-16 booster inside, the box washes its price for anyone who wants to pilot Katakuri. We stop short of a Buy because the deck's appeal is player-shaped: one promo in a mass-print retail box is a nice extra, not a value engine, and purple control is a narrower audience than Luffy aggro. Get it if Katakuri is your leader; there's no need to rush or overpay — restocks will come.

Same honest math as its siblings — $11.99 minus the ~$4.50 OP-16 booster leaves about $7.50 for a full constructed deck plus the promo, which is fair value for anyone who wants the deck. The dual-color identity makes it the most distinctive pilot's pick of the six, but it's still a mass-print retail box: no scarcity, no sealed angle. Buy to play Sabo; don't pay above retail.

The quiet value box of the wave. ST-36 is a yellow midrange deck under Eustass"Captain"Kid that plays both sides of the board — and it's the only deck of the six whose official contents list TWO exclusive promotion cards. Run the same math as its siblings: $11.99 minus the ~$4.50 OP-16 booster inside leaves ~$7.50 for a full 51-card deck plus two promos — the best contents-per-dollar in the ST-31–36 wave. It's still a mass-print retail product, so this is not a sealed-hold play and we're not projecting promo prices before release. But if you're buying one deck of this wave for contents rather than a favorite character, this is the one.

Premium Card Collection — 29th Anniversary Edition

Temper the hype on the One Piece 29th Anniversary Card Collection. It's the cheapest Premium Card Collection Bandai has released — $10 for 8 cards (4 Normal + 4 Premium special-finish) — but it printed HUGE. Our read is a print run around 500,000, roughly 10–25× the ~20,000–50,000 of comparable anniversary chases, so the upside is capped versus a normal anniversary drop. Even so, the cards clear the $10 box: our estimate is ~$20–30 for the Normal versions and ~$50–100 for the 4 Premium special-finish cards. Net: still a Buy at $10 retail — you get more than the box price in cards — but it's a modest, capped play, not a moonshot, and with orders paused / reopening (below) don't overpay on the secondary.

Premium Card Collection — Best Selection Vol.7

A P-Bandai exclusive that sold out at the 9pm-Central window: 12 premium Holo + Textured Foil reprints of sought-after cards, plus a collector booklet, at $25 retail. These Best Selection sets are made for a fixed order window and aren't generally reprinted, so supply is effectively capped the moment the window closes — and the Premium Card Collection line has a track record of holding or climbing on the secondary once it's gone. Strong buy: grab a sealed copy near retail; the foils are the chase.

Official Playmat — Limited Edition Vol.6

The matching Limited Edition playmat, also a P-Bandai exclusive and also sold out at the drop. Limited-edition OP playmats are capped and not reprinted, so clean sealed copies tend to command a premium once the window closes — and a Vol.6 numbered run signals a deliberately limited print. Strong buy for collectors who want it: keep it sealed and buy near retail on the secondary.
