In the box · 8 cards — 4 Normal (matching Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 33 bonus) + 4 Premium special-finish, 29th Anniversary special illustration
Temper the hype on the One Piece 29th Anniversary Card Collection. It's the cheapest Premium Card Collection Bandai has released — $10 for 8 cards (4 Normal + 4 Premium special-finish) — but it printed HUGE. Our read is a print run around 500,000, roughly 10–25× the ~20,000–50,000 of comparable anniversary chases, so the upside is capped versus a normal anniversary drop. Even so, the cards clear the $10 box: our estimate is ~$20–30 for the Normal versions and ~$50–100 for the 4 Premium special-finish cards. Net: still a Buy at $10 retail — you get more than the box price in cards — but it's a modest, capped play, not a moonshot, and with orders paused / reopening (below) don't overpay on the secondary.
Official update (Jul 9, @ONEPIECE_tcg_EN): Premium Bandai orders are PAUSED after strong demand — additional availability is being prepared, plus a plan to reach regions where P-Bandai isn't offered. So the fast US sell-out wasn't scarcity; more stock is coming. Combined with the ~500,000 print run, the upside is capped — our estimate is ~$20–30 for the Normal versions and ~$50–100 for the Premium special-finish cards. Buy near retail, and don't overpay scalper listings when a reopening is on the way.

Through Premium Bandai (P-Bandai) in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Pre-orders opened July 6, 2026, then paused after strong demand — Bandai says more availability is being prepared, including for regions where P-Bandai isn't offered. It is not sold in general retail stores.
Yes. Our estimate is a print run around 500,000 — far above the ~20,000–50,000 of comparable One Piece anniversary chases — and Premium Bandai has paused orders to prepare even more stock. That caps the upside: we estimate the Normal versions at ~$20–30 and the 4 Premium special-finish cards at ~$50–100.
TCGIntel rates it a Buy at $10 retail. The ~500,000 print run caps the upside, but the cards still clear the box price — we estimate ~$20–30 for the Normal versions and ~$50–100 for the 4 Premium special-finish cards. This is an editorial opinion, not financial advice.
Our estimate: ~$20–30 for the Normal versions and ~$50–100 for the 4 Premium special-finish cards — so a $10 box holds meaningfully more than its retail, though the ~500,000 print run caps the ceiling. This is a model estimate, not a guarantee; check live comps before buying.
