Verdict — This is the accessible English print of a set that, in its original Chinese form, is scarce and expensive. But 'accessible' is the whole point — it's a global Premium Bandai preorder, so the English box won't inherit the Chinese original's scarcity premium. Our pre-release read: the sealed English set settles near MSRP (~$90–130), and the real upside lives in the singles — an all-female cast of fan-favorites (Boa Hancock, Nami, Robin, Yamato) headlined by a serial-numbered Jewelry Bonney parallel that is the one genuinely scarce card in the box.

All 11 promos are alt-art, holo-foil printings of fan-favorite female characters (collectors call it the "waifu set"). Confirmed from the official product image:

The Jewelry Bonney is the headline card: it comes in a standard version and a rare hidden parallel with a unique serial number — the one genuinely scarce card in the box, and the most likely to carry a standalone premium. Chinese vs Japanese 3rd Anniversary Set — don't confuse them
This is the trap. There are two different "3rd Anniversary Sets", and listings blend them constantly:
- Chinese 3rd Anniversary Set (this one) — marks the Chinese version's 3rd anniversary; now getting an English print at $100. All-female lineup, Bonney secret parallel.
- Japanese 3rd Anniversary Set — a separate Premium Bandai Japan product with its own different promo lineup.
They share a name and nothing else. When you shop, match the exact product (and, for the English version, the "Chinese … English version" wording) before you pay.
What it's worth — and the mistake most buyers will make
Here's the honest mechanics, and why the hype comp is a trap:
1. The Chinese original is expensive — but that scarcity does not transfer. Sealed copies of the original Simplified-Chinese release ask into the four figures (USD) on the secondary market, because that print was region-locked and scarce. It's tempting to price the English box off that. Don't. The English version is a global Premium Bandai preorder — broad, made-to-demand supply. Accessibility is the entire product thesis, and it's exactly what caps the sealed English price.
2. So the sealed English set is a near-MSRP product. With preorders at ~$120 against a $100 MSRP, the sealed box is already priced roughly where broad-supply P-Bandai collections tend to sit. It's a fair way to get all 11 cards at once — not a scarcity flip.
3. The value lives in the singles. An all-female cast of top characters, as fresh alt-arts, is where collector money goes — Boa Hancock and Nami singles, the Bonney standard, and above all the serial-numbered Bonney parallel, which is the only card here with real, fixed scarcity.
Our First Read (dated, to be graded after release):
- Sealed English set, launch/settle: ~$90–130 — around MSRP as global preorder supply arrives.
- 6–12 month sealed potential: ~$120–180, if the headline singles hold demand and the print isn't heavily re-run.
- The real upside is the Bonney serial parallel — a genuine scarce chase that could stand well above the rest of the box if the serial run is small (unknown until release).
- Downside: ~$80–100 sealed if supply is abundant and the singles stay soft.
- Conviction: Low — it's unreleased, there are no English sold comps yet, and the print run + Bonney serial count are unknown. This is a pre-market hypothesis.
How to not get burned
- Buy the single you want, not the box — unless you want all 11. The sealed set is fair value for the whole lineup; if you only want Hancock or the Bonney parallel, singles will be the cleaner buy once they print.
- The Bonney parallel is the only real scarcity. Everything else is a broadly-supplied global promo. Pay a premium for the serial-numbered card, not for the common versions.
- Don't price it off the Chinese original. That four-figure number is a different, scarce product. The English print is the accessible one — that's the point.
