Verdict — EB-05 is the sequel to EB-03, the Heroines set whose SP cards now sell for $1,200–1,450 each in English. Preorder boxes already sell above EB-03 boxes. Our read: the value will sit in the 8 SP cards and the single Secret Rare, and the box price falls back toward EB-03's once packs are opened.
The short answer: EB-05 "ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2" releases in English on October 30, 2026 at $4.99 a pack. It follows EB-03, the first Heroines set, whose SP cards became some of the most expensive English cards of the year: Nico Robin SP sells for $1,350–1,450, Boa Hancock and Nami SPs for about $1,250–1,330. EB-05 preorder boxes already sell for $366–397, above the $310–325 an EB-03 box sells for today. Bandai hasn't published the card list, so the SP line-up isn't confirmed yet.
This is independent analysis of physical collectibles, not financial advice. EB-05 is unreleased: every EB-05 figure below is a preorder sale or a dated prediction we'll grade later. Prices are TCGplayer sales in USD, English Near Mint or sealed, read on 2 October 2026.

Why EB-03 is the comparison that matters
EB-05 is a direct sequel, so EB-03's English prices are the best guide to what a Heroines SP is worth once the hype fades.
| EB-03 card (English) | TCGplayer sold | Dates |
|---|---|---|
| Nico Robin SP (EB03-055) | $1,350–1,449.95 | Sep 25–Oct 1 |
| Boa Hancock SP (EB03-026) | $1,330 | Aug 31 |
| Nami SP (EB03-053) | $1,234.99–1,250 | Sep 8 |
| Uta, Manga Secret Rare (EB03-061) | $867.99–868.42 | Sep 23–24 |
| Vivi SP (EB03-024) | $403.98–445.99 | Sep 16–19 |
| EB-03 booster box | $310–324.99 | Oct 1 |
Sources: TCGplayer sales for Robin SP, Hancock SP, Nami SP, Uta Manga, Vivi SP and the EB-03 box. Two things stand out: the character sets the price (Robin, Hancock and Nami are more than three times Vivi), and the English print is worth far more than the Japanese one. Our own ledger has the Japanese Robin SP near $565.
The chase cards: not confirmed yet
Bandai's card list doesn't include EB-05 yet. TCGplayer's preorder catalog lists a Nico Robin SP, a Shirahoshi Manga card and a Nami SP reprint, among others. Treat those as unconfirmed until Bandai publishes the list; we'll update this page when it does.
Our First Read (dated 2 October 2026)
- The SP cards: expect the SPs of the most-collected heroines (Robin, Hancock, Nami) to open well above $1,000 and settle at roughly $700–1,200 raw within three months. That's below EB-03's level, because a second Heroines set has to share demand with the first.
- The single Secret Rare: with only one per set, it's likely to sell between the top SPs and EB-03's Uta Manga (~$870). We won't put a number on it until we know who it is.
- The sealed box: preorder sales of $366–397 are above where EB-03 trades today. We predict EB-05 boxes settle at about $280–340 by the end of January 2027.
- What would prove us wrong: a top EB-05 SP still selling above $1,300 at the end of January means the sequel matched vol.1, and we were too cautious. If the best SPs fall below $500, the market treated vol.2 as an echo of vol.1.
We'll grade this read against real sales after release and add the result to this page.
Should you preorder?
Opening packs for a Robin or Hancock SP is the whole appeal, and that's a lottery: only a few SP cards exist per box. If you want a particular heroine, wait for the card list and buy the single once prices settle. A $390 preorder box is a bet that vol.2 repeats vol.1, which is the least likely outcome for a sequel.
Founder position: none in EB-05 sealed or singles at the time of writing.
