ST13-003 Monkey.D.Luffy — one number, seven cards
- Ultra Deck base (silver text)
- raw ~$7–18
- Gold-text Leader Collection
- raw ~$187 (US)
- Manga parallel (bonus pack)
- raw ~$81
- BVB × Dortmund collab
- raw ~$865 · PSA10 ~$1,425
Verdict — “ST13-003” is not one card — it's at least seven, from ~$7 to over $1,400 depending on print, text colour, stamp and collab. Match the exact variant before you buy or sell; the number alone tells you nothing.
The short answer: ST13-003 is a Monkey D. Luffy Leader card (5000 power, 4 life, "your face-up Life goes to the bottom of your deck"). But one serial number hides at least seven different collectibles — the Ultra Deck base, a gold-text Premium Card Collection parallel, a manga-style bonus-pack parallel, a Borussia Dortmund football collab, a Seven-Eleven promo, and tournament winner prints — trading from ~$7 to over $1,400. Anyone pricing "ST13-003" off a single number is almost certainly wrong, and Google's AI answer blends them into one figure that is wrong for every variant. Here's each one, priced on real eBay sold comps and SNKRDUNK, and which we rate a Buy.

The variants — priced, with our call
Tap a variant for its full reading and dated call.
| Variant | What makes it distinct | Market (last-sold) | Our call |
|---|---|---|---|
| BVB × Dortmund collab | Borussia Dortmund football-kit alt-art; event-only, EN/EU | raw ~$865 · PSA 10 ~$1,425 | 🟢 BUY (target $2,000 / $3,000) |
| Gold-text Leader Collection | gold foil name text (base is silver); from the $15 Premium Card Collection, sold at Bandai's own events | raw ~$195 (US) · ~$50 (JP) | 🟢 BUY (target $350–500) |
| Manga parallel (Ultimate Deck bonus) | black-and-white manga-style alt-art | raw ~$81 | Fair value |
| Ultra Deck base (silver text) | the retail Leader from The Three Brothers | raw ~$7–18 | Fair value |
| Seven-Eleven collaboration | Japanese convenience-store promo print | raw ~$7 | Fair value |
| 2nd / 3rd Anniversary Tournament | winner/participation event prints | ~$100 → four figures graded | Watch |
Two of the seven are our Buys. The spread from ~$7 to $1,400+ is entirely print, text colour, stamp and collaboration — same character, same base pose.
Why the number is meaningless on its own
Every one of these is stamped "ST13-003," so a listing that just says "ST13-003 Luffy" could be a $7 base card or a $1,400 graded Dortmund collab. Google's AI answer, when asked "what is ST13-003 worth," returns a single "$400–700 raw / $750–900 PSA 10" figure — which is wrong for every variant: far too high for the $15 base, too low for a graded BVB, and blind to the gold-text and anniversary prints entirely. The disambiguators that actually matter:
- Text colour — the gold-text Leader Collection parallel is a ~$187 card; the silver-text Ultra Deck base is ~$15. Same art, one is 12× the other.
- Collab art — the BVB × Dortmund print puts Luffy in a football kit; it is unmistakable and trades four figures.
- Stamp — the anniversary tournament prints carry event stamps and jump to four figures graded.
- Region & grade — the gold-text card is ~3× cheaper in Japan than the US on the identical card, and the collab's value is concentrated in PSA 10.
The two we rate a Buy
BVB × Dortmund collab → — a one-off football × anime crossover on fixed, event-only, EN/Europe-exclusive supply. Raw sold ~$515–1,260 (median ~$865), PSA 10 ~$1,175–1,550 (median ~$1,425), with 72 SNKRDUNK sellers — a liquid four-figure market, not a thin one. Our target: $2,000 raw / $3,000 PSA 10. Founder does not hold this card (disclosed).
Gold-text Leader Collection → — told apart from the base by its gold foil name text. It was never in a booster pack: the card came inside the $15 six-card Premium Card Collection -Leader Collection-, sold over the counter at the BCG Fest 24-25 World Tour and the Championship 2024 Finals in North America and Europe. (It is not one of the P-numbered BCG Fest promo cards — a common mix-up.) US sold has firmed from ~$76 (May) to a $185–280 cluster (Jun–Jul). The live edge: SNKRDUNK Japanese asks sit ~$50 versus US sold ~$185+ — a ~3× regional gap on the identical card. Our target: $350–500. Founder holds this card (disclosed).
How to tell them apart before you buy
- Look at the name text. Gold = the Premium Card Collection parallel (
$187). Silver = the base ($15). - Look at the art. Football kit + BVB crest = the Dortmund collab (four figures). Manga black-and-white = the bonus-pack parallel (~$81).
- Look for a stamp. An anniversary/tournament stamp = an event print, priced separately (often graded).
- Match the grade and the region. The collab's value lives in PSA 10; the gold-text card is cheaper in Japan than the US.
The number alone is never enough. Every price on this page is matched to a specific variant and grade — which is the only way to price "ST13-003" correctly.
